Can I adjust the video quality?

In order for us to provide you with the best video quality, we chose to not allow adjustment by the end user during live viewing. NFL Game Pass will provide the optimal video quality depending on the current download bandwidth of your internet connection, up to a maximum of a Full HD experience. The video player uses adaptive bandwidth technology to periodically check your Internet connection and deliver you the optimal video quality experience for that connection.

The videos are available in automatically adaptive bit rate format, both live and on-demand.

The bit rates are as follows:

• Up to 1280x720px at 4.5Mbps or at 6Mbps only for Chromecast and AppleTV
• Up to 1600x900px at 4.750Mbps or up to 1980x1080px at 6Mbps only for Chromecast and AppleTV

To give you the choice of how best to manage your mobile data and device memory, you will be offered a choice of video quality to download; Low, Medium or High. The required data for each will be displayed clearly next to each option.
